From a successful 10-year career as a professional windsurfer to creating one of the world’s most successful paddleboarding brands, John Hibbard was destined to live and breathe the ocean.

It was in 2008 where the idea came to him. The concept of paddleboarding was growing in popularity, but he wondered: how many people really had the ability to transport and store a 12-foot board? Not many, he realised.

The solution was innovative and groundbreaking: an inflatable stand-up paddleboard that gave more people than ever before the freedom and ability to paddle wherever they please… and so, Red Paddle Co was born.

Since its inception, the brand has grown to design and create a range of beach-ready gear like cooler bags, drink bottles, and towels.
